Dental Innovation Forum 2014

We are honored and delighted to welcome you to our Dental Innovation Forum to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 16-17, 2014. Our program is rich with eight international and two national speakers, two poster sessions each day, and six workshops.

The forum program will have 10 distinguished invited speakers; 6 are dentists, and 3 are non-dentist. There is a half day workshop on March 17, in which we expect the speakers to provide 30 min session, which will be more interactive. The none dentists are expected to share their expertise in bench to commercialization process where they will talk about claiming IP, tech transfer and commercialization. in addition to that the Dental innovation forum exhibition it will be quite unique in comparison to the national and regional dental events. There will be a mixture of business leaders, young entrepreneurs, and policy makers.

The objective of the International Forum on Innovation in Dentistry is to gather the world leaders in dental medicine who have made innovations in biomarkers, bioengineering, stem cells, restorative dentistry and biomaterials and have translated them into intellectual properties to share their experiences and inspire and motivate the dentists in and around the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to embark on innovation and technology transfer.

The forum will also bring together dentists and researchers working on the thematic areas in order to exchange ideas and bring new contributions to the field of innovation and technology transfer in dentistry through poster presentations. The forum will bring you the ideas and development of the Intellectual Property (IP) tools directly from their inventors and executives.

Especially organized parallel workshop sessions will enable you to have more interactive sessions on “How to” secure IP with the International speakers and to take practical ideas and solutions with you. The forum will open a lot of future strong collaboration between the West and the biotechnology innovation movement in Saudi Arabia, which is one of the national directives of knowledge-based economy in Saudi Arabia supported by His Majesty the King of Saudi Arabia.
